conVISUAL wins Mobile Marketing Award 2006/2007 for the campaign "Welcome Lisa"
conVISUAL wins the award sponsored by CommsClub Bayern e.V. in the category "Integrative Communication Concept".

conVISUAL, the Mobile Marketing specialist, won the Mobile Marketing Award 2006/2007 in the category “Integrative Communication Concept“ for the campaign it developed called “Willkommen Lisa“ (Welcome Lisa). Yesterday, CommClubs Bayern e. V. awarded the prize for the first time in an official ceremony. SevenOne Intermedia, the multimedia company of the ProSiebenSat.1 group, commissioned conVISUAL to develop the campaign.
conVISUAL used this campaign within the Sat.1 telenovela, “Verliebt in Berlin” (“In Love with Berlin”) to show how Mobile Marketing can be used as an effective tool to increase customer loyalty. The award confirmed the campaign’s achievement of the following positive results:
- Creating an optimal integration of TV, Mobile and online media
- Designing a compelling viewer interaction by taking advantage of the ease of use and benefits of free of charge SMS
- Securing a direct and lasting customer contact by using SMS to refer the viewer to the online site
About the campaign:
In the middle of April 2007 German actress, Alexandra Neldel, returned to Sat.1 to reprise her role as “Lisa Plenske” for 16 episodes of the telenovela “Veliebt in Berlin”. In the new episodes, Lisa and the man of her dreams, David, got married in a wedding ceremony that was witnessed by more than eight million viewers. Online and mobile marketing supported Lisa’s short come-back to the telenovela.
The mobile marketing that supported the show consisted of fans registering to receive “secret messages” between the two lovers just before the airing of each new episode. The fans became aware of the “secret message” subscription service because of signs and ads with the slogan “Willkommen Lisa” (“Welcome Lisa”) and the invitation to receive Lisa’s private SMS messages to David by registering for the subscription service. As a result of the service, the fans that registered for the service and received the secret messages had superior knowledge than those fans that merely watched the TV show.
