conVISUAL started Q1 2009 strong with improved operating figures

conVISUAL starts the business year with its strongest quarter since the company’s inception in 2000. The number of mobile marketing projects conVISUAL developed both in German and U.S. markets has significantly increased in the last months. All operating figures have improved with very positive margin developments. In the U.S., conVISUAL was also able to successfully position itself as a mobile marketing specialist.
Dr. Thomas Wolf, founder and CEO of conVISUAL: “Our strategy to concentrate on brands and advertising agencies is paying off, especially in the current downturn economy. The budgets for advertising that were used for traditional media, are spent more and more on interactive, direct response media. For a considerable amount of time we have experienced a certain budget shift to the mobile marketing business. We definitely benefit from this development.“
The higher demand for mobile marketing campaigns is attributed to: 1) The mobile medium provides an optimal measurability of a campaign’s success. 2) No other medium is capable of communicating a campaign message in a comparably direct and personal way. 3) The popularity of multimedia Internet cell phones with large display – such as Apple iPhone or Google G1.
The report on conVISUAL’s business year 2008 and a first outlook on the business year 2009 is planned to be published in June 2009. Furthermore, conVISUAL announces that Vatas, an investment company, does no hold shares of conVISUAL any longer. This leads to a corresponding increase of the free float shares.
