conVISUAL licenses exclusive rights for the mobile content of the movie “Garfield 2“

Before the launch of the movie “Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties“ conVISUAL has acquired the exclusive rights for the commercialisation of mobile content, all around the Garfield character. With immediate effect, new Garfield 3D pictures, wallpapers, animations, and Java Games from the new film are available from conVISUAL. Licenser is uclick, content syndicator from the USA.

Before, on 10 August, the movie “Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties“ is launched, conVISUAL, full service provider for interactive viewer services, makes the lazy tomcat purr on mobile phones.

conVISUAL offers a large range of mobile Garfield content. Highlight is the new adventure Java Game „Garfield 2: Royal Adventure“. Cartoon and movie content , as wallpaper or 3D screensaver, can be downloaded onto mobile handsets. With each, users have the choice between more than 20 pictures. The exclusive rights concern Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Besides the new pictures from “Garfield 2“, conVISUAL continues providing the classics for download, too.

On 19 June 1978, the first comic strip with tomcat Garfield, created by Jim Davis, was published in 41 American newspapers.
