conVISUAL Becomes the Official Mobile Partner for Insurance Company Knappschaft

  • Mobile Advertising campaign with mobile microsite and mobile banner for German health insurance company
  • SMS-Push campaign and other activities are planned

conVISUAL is now the official mobile partner for Knappschaft and will be developing a long-term mobile strategy for the German health insurance
company. conVISUAL will be implementing campaigns and activities for efficient customer interaction which will lead to Knappschaft generating new customers and increasing customer loyalty – anytime and anywhere – simply via the customer’s mobile phone.


In March 2010, conVISUAL launched a Mobile Advertising campaign for the Knappschaft entitled ”Wechseln lohnt sich” – “It’s worth a change.” The campaign gives participants a chance to win a two week cruise and travel discounts. The campaign is promoted with mobile banners on selected mobile portals – this way users can access the mobile site knappschaft.convisual.de with only one click. On this page, participants get noncommittal information about the Knappschaft and can automatically enter themselves into the sweepstakes. In addition to this, participants can also get information on Knappschaft by sending an SMS with the keyword ”Sparen” – “Save money” to 44144.


conVISUAL manages all organization matters for this campaign – consulting, creation, conception and technical development. The implementation of banners on mobile portals like Vodafone live!, Stern und RTL is realized in cooperation with G+J Electronic Media Sales (EMS), the leading German marketer of electronic media. With this strong media partner, conVISUAL ensures an ideal presence of the mobile advertising campaign on mobile portals that reach the right target group.


Knappschaft and conVISUAL plan to implement further mobile steps and set up a continuous dialog with the 1.7 million Knappschaft insurants. An SMS push-campaign in cooperation with a leading network operator as well as other SMS campaigns are planned for the near future. These campaigns will aim to remind the Knappschaft customers of attractive products and benefits.
