Coca-Cola and conVISUAL are Launching a Novel Christmas Mobile Marketing Campaign
Coca-Cola has deployed a brand new mobile marketing for its 2008 Christmas Campaign. Coca-Cola, empowered by conVISUAL, is integrating a signature Coca-Cola Christmas song as a ringback tone. German T-Mobile and Vodafone customers are invited to activate the ringback tone for free of charge. The campaign lasts until the end of 2008.

conVISUAL (ISIN: DE0006204589) developed and launched a mobile marketing campaign for a Coca-Cola’s 2008 annual Christmas campaign, bringing Christmas onto user’s cell phone. Coca-Cola is offering its famous Christmas song ”Holidays are coming“ as a free ringback tone for T-Mobile and Vodafone customers in Germany. Coca-Cola’s free Christmas ringback tone replaces callers’ existing ringback tone for a limited time. This is the first time that the campaign song of a world-famous brand is being integrated into the communication of the two major network operators in Germany. The viral concept of the campaign enables Coca-Cola to reach millions of callers and to generate high awareness of the brand.
Various mobile access channels for the ringback tone campaign were developed by conVISUAL. The ringback tone can be activated from a special mobile section on the Coca-Cola mobile portal. Alternatively, customers can send a short message with the keyword COKE to the German short code 44144. The SMS will be followed by the activation of the ringback tone in the T-Mobile or Vodafone network. Subscribers to other networks will be referred to the Christmas section on the Coca-Cola mobile portal. The campaign is also being advertised, as Christmas special, at www.coke.de.
