Singing, dancing, ice skating – conVISUAL equips TV highlights of German broadcaster, ProSiebenSat.1, with interactive services
23 November 2006 – Oberhausen, Germany
“POPSTARS“ belongs to the most popular “ProSieben” programs. Since the start of the current round, broadcasted on Thursdays within the prime time at 8:15 pm and repeated on Sundays, viewers, participating through SMS, have been given the possibility to win attractive prices and to send SMS greetings on the screen. SevenOne Intermedia, the multimedia company of the ProSiebenSat.1 group, commissioned conVISUAL with the realisation of these interactive services. Highlight is the “POPSTARS” final, on 23 November, in which the viewers decide on the formation of the “No Angels” successor band – the most successful German POPSTARS band – also by SMS voting.
With “Stars auf Eis“ (Stars on Ice) on ProSieben, the viewers also vote in the couple for the next round. Celebrities, such as Lucy Diakovska, former “No Angel“ popstar, show their ice skating skills, together with famous figure skaters. During the program, viewers can choose their favourite via SMS, including the chance to win 5,000 Euro cash. Once again, conVISUAL is responsible for the mobile value added service.
In ”YOU CAN DANCE!“, the German broadcaster Sat.1 searches for the best dancer with the most varied performance, in Germany. The program is broadcasted each Friday, at 8:15 pm, with two repetitions. The expert judges and the viewers’ SMS messages select out of the 14 dancers who will make it to the live performance shows starting on 15 Dec. Only one of them will win the great final, on 19 January 2007, and receive as price 50,000 Euro and a dancing workshop in the U.S.
Since 12 October, kabel eins has been broadcasting the 8-part docu series ”Job zu vergeben“ (Job available) in its “K1 magazine”, everyThursday at 9:15 pm, repeated on Saturdays. During this autumn campaign, viewers are invited to guess the five-digit Euro amount in the glass case, under the motto “Job available – win a case full of money“. To participate viewers just have to send an SMS with the keyword “Euro” and their guess to “60500”. conVISUAL takes on the SMS processing and the sending of reply messages to each participant. In each broadcast, the participants will receive clues, helping them to find out the right amount of money, and have the chance to take part in the sweepstake, by 26 November 2006. At the end of the campaign, all participants who gave the right answer will take part in the drawing for the case full of money.
