'80 Years of Quelle': Mail Order Company celebrates its Anniversary Campaign with conVISUAL's Voice Number '11885'

conVISUAL realises the telephone voting for the 80th anniversary sweepstakes of the mail order company Quelle.

Quelle is 80 years old now – a good reason to celebrate. Therefore, the German agency Media on Work, Potsdam, conceived a very special birthday campaign. Between the 5th and 28th of May, German radio listeners give their votes for the 'Quelle Top 80 Chart Hits' via telephone and online voting. Everyone who participates will take part in a drawing for 80 phantastic prizes, from a holiday in the Caribbean through to a kitchen of 25.000 EUR value. The action culminates in a 6-hour anniversary broadcast on Whit Monday, 28th of May, during which all selected 'Quelle Top 80 Charts' will be presented by all 44 participating radio stations.

Participants give their vote for their favourite hit on the phone and have the chance to win a prize in the drawing. The emphasis is put on interaction with the caller, starting after '11885' has been dialed and the code word 'Quelle' has been entered into an intelligent, voice based dialogue. Various questions invite the callers to sing their favourite hit, give their personal details for the case of winning a prize and specifying the prize they would prefer to win. This is possible because of the innovative voice portal technology offered by the voting platform. The convenient voice dialogue enables a more direct contact to the customer, resulting in a significantly more qualified feedback. The current status of the action can be tracked and evaluated on a daily basis. At the same time, the data can be analyzed by specific characteristics and effectively used for customer relationship management.

The campaign is planned to span different media. In a national media co-operation between Germany's most powerful radio broadcasters, listeners are invited to participate. Within the three weeks of campaign, each broadcasting station uses more than 80 radio trailers. During the anniversary action, the phone number '11885' and the code word 'Quelle' will be promoted by 15 million Quelle anniversary catalogues, several million online newsletters, all Quelle shops and the Quelle Technology Centres.
